Force 3 leverages expertise as top Cisco Federal Security Partner to implement Network Admission Control solution enterprise-wide for DISA Defense Information Systems Center
Business Challenge:
The Defense Information Systems Center (DISC), DISA’s internal enterprise IT organization, is challenged daily to make highly sensitive data accessible to those who need it while restricting access to those who don’t. With the agency spread worldwide and thousands of end-users accessing the network, the need for access control and endpoint security is a top priority.
Technology Solution:
Network Admission Control. Force 3 was tasked by DISA DISC to deliver an enterprise-wide Cisco Network Admission Control solution, a framework and set of technologies that allows only compliant and trusted endpoint devices, (such as PCs, laptops, servers, and PDAs) to gain access to the network.
Following a six-month on-site design and testing phase, Force 3 is providing hardware and software for the four DISA regions and installation services for the National Capital Region (NCR), in all affecting 36 sites and over 7,000 end users worldwide. The project includes a Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis, and Response System (CS-MARS) for centralized event correlation, Cisco NAC Appliance Profiler and redundant Clean Access Managers at each of the region’s main sites.
