FirstSource 2

Force 3 has been supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) since 1991, working with numerous agencies to support mission objectives and goals.  This puts us in a unique position to understand and support DHS strategic initiatives, including the need for innovative solutions that help protect the Homeland; enhanced preparedness, recovery and communications capabilities; and the ability to do this all while attracting and maintaining the best IT staff in the industry.

Take a look at the five reasons Force 3 is a great fit for your FirstSource needs:

Innovation for Homeland Security: Force 3′s mission states it pretty clearly – our company culture creates a relentless focus on achieving a customer’s end goal through innovative, unique solutions and highly trained, passionate people.  This philosophy is anchored by our Customer Innovation Center and Integration Lab, state-of-the-art facilities our engineers and customers use to collaborate on innovative solutions that meet mission requirements. Specifically, Force 3 is currently working with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to implement a Virtualized Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) pilot utilizing Force 3′s proven Reference Architecture built for better storage performance and a rich user experience over an IP network.

The right partners and teams: Not only do we supply products and services directly to DHS, we partner with some of the best technology companies in the business. Together, we bring a comprehensive  array of netcentric products  and innovative solutions that keeps our country at the forefront of technology.  Our partners include large systems integrators (Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, L3) and smaller niche firms who provide innovative solutions to strengthen and secure the DHS infrastructure.

Demonstrated IDIQ methodologies: Our dynamic order management system uses web-based tools to process, track, manage, ship and communicate with our customers so we can quickly supply mission critical solutions and services anywhere in the world.

Proven program management structure and task order management methodology: Force 3′s Program Management Office (PMO) includes certified Program Managers that are dedicated to the management and support of our IDIQ contracts.  Whether the requirement is for a disaster recovery solution to prevent lost data or a Sharepoint Enterprise Subject Matter Expert at headquarters, we have a standardized task order response process that allows us to quickly and efficiently respond to mission critical requirements.  Once engaged, our PMO employs Program Management Institute (PMI) based project planning and implementation methodologies to facilitate a successful deployment.  And, rest assured, throughout the deployment process, we utilize web-based tools to track, manage and communicate with our customers while providing a transparent view of project status and progress.

Community Involvement: Force 3 employees aren’t the type of people who simply punch a clock.  Instead, our employees strive to promote positive change and a better quality of life for the military community that has inspired us for nearly 20 years.  The Force 3 Foundation was established to provide charitable contributions to non-profits who engage in worthy and meaningful activities that improve the quality of life for our community.  Within the military community, some of the Foundation’s efforts include activities and sponsorships for the Wounded Warriors Project, Toys for Tots and the Brig. Gen. Donald Wagner Scholarship Fund.
