Rocky Cintron
President and CEO

When Rocky started Force 3 twenty years ago, he had a simple vision: create a great technology company that employed people who were passionate, innovative and excited to come to work each day. With the words, “develop people, power innovation, 100% customer success” echoing through the hallways, Cintron started Force 3 as a PC and networking reseller, and gradually evolved the company into the $340 million engineering and solutions innovator that it is known to be today.

Rocky has been nationally recognized for his entrepreneurship, innovative employee training programs and his ability to steer the company on a constant growth path while adapting to changing industry trends.

Rocky is a member of the CEO Project and serves as a member of the Cisco Executive Exchange. He received his bachelor’s in business and marketing from the University of Maryland and is married with three children.

 

Jim Bird
Vice Chairman

Jim graduated from college in 1972 after earning a B.A. in Liberal Arts. Seeking more challenging fields of study, he continued his education, attending the University of Minnesota, George Washington University and American University before pursuing the world of Computer Programming. He worked for several companies including Control Data and eventually landed with Cintronix where he met Rocky Cintron, now Force 3′s CEO. In 1991, Jim and Rocky founded Force 3, Inc. Over the years, utilizing his varied background, Jim has fulfilled many roles, from primary engineer to COO. Currently, he serves as Vice Chairman, heading the Force 3 Foundation.

 

Les Trachtman
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Trachtman currently serves as Force 3’s Chief Operating Officer. He came to the company in September 2008 and originally served as Chief Strategy Officer. Mr. Trachtman has three decades of entrepreneurial experience in the technology industry. Les has previously served as CEO of several different technology companies including Transcentive and e-OneHundred Group. Prior to these ventures, he spearheaded corporate development for Progress Software and Hyperion Software.

Les currently serves on the board of directors of The Metro Group and Aztech Technologies and is the Entrepreneur in Residence at Union College in Schenectady, New York. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Union College and both a JD and an MBA from Emory University. Mr. Trachtman is a frequent lecturer at colleges and universities and is the author of “The Inside Trac,” a blog that details the life of a senior level executive as he balances strategy and developing great people with building scalable and lasting enterprises. Les is married with two children.

 

Deborah Carr
Senior Vice President, Accounting Operations

For 25 years Debbie has worked and established herself as an invaluable asset in purchasing, contracts and accounting. Starting her profession as a Payroll Manager she progressed to a General Ledger Accountant when she began her career at Force 3. Debbie has since been with the company for more than 13 years, growing with the company to an integral position managing all back office support including purchasing, customer service and finance. Debbie is responsible for all of the audits and banking relations of Force 3 as well as financial reporting to external and internal customers.

 

Krissy Kelley
Vice President, Marketing

Krissy Kelley is the Vice President of Marketing for Force 3, Inc. She joined the company in August of 2005 and is responsible for driving Force 3’s strategic marketing through integrated branding, advertising, lead-generation and communications. She manages relationships with strategic vendors to develop and execute joint programs. Prior to Force 3, Krissy was a Senior Account Manager for Comcast Spotlight and Comcast SportsNet for over 10 years, where she led sales efforts in the Baltimore Region. Krissy holds a B.A. in Speech Communications from the University of Maryland. She resides in Mt. Airy, MD with her husband and three children. Connect with Krissy on LinkedIn.

 

Mike Greaney
Vice President, Sales

Michael Greaney joined Force 3 in August 2009 as a 26-year technology industry executive. Mike is currently the Vice President of Sales, overseeing all Force 3 sales verticals . He has held executive positions in both public and private companies and has experience in a variety of aspects of business management, with particular emphasis on IT sales and sales management. Mike received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland and his Masters of Administrative Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. He is involved in various industry associations, including AFCEA, and is a proud member of the University of Maryland Terrapin Club. Mike currently lives in Laytonsville, Maryland, with his wife and three children.

 

Chris Knotts
Vice President, Technology & Innovation

Chris Knotts is the Vice President of Technology & Innovation at Force 3, leading the company’s product and solutions development initiatives. He returned to Force 3 in 2006 to help craft the company’s intellectual property strategy with a focus on unique solutions that solve customer’s business issues. Prior to Force 3, Mr. Knotts was the Director of Government Sales & Marketing at TCS (NASDAQ:TSYS) where he had responsibility for sales, product management, branding activities, and product strategy for the company’s Government business unit. Over the past 18 years, Mr. Knotts has served the industry in various technical, executive, and advisory roles. He served as a wireless technologist with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) at the Pentagon and holds multiple patents on text messaging technology.

 

Sudhir Verma
Vice President, Consulting Services

Sudhir Verma joined Force 3 in September 2009 and is the Vice President of Consulting Services and Project Management Office. Under Sudhir’s leadership, his team focuses on developing and delivering solutions across four Technology Practices to assist our customers in meeting their mission requirements. The Consulting Services group provides pre-sales, post-sales and managed services across Security, Communication and Collaboration, Borderless Networks and Data Center practices. Sudhir has over 15 years of IT consulting experience at all organizational levels, from Sales and delivery to leading a consulting organization in federal as well as commercial space.

Prior to joining Force 3, Sudhir led the Data Center Transformation practice at HP where his focus was developing Data Center practice by bringing value added solutions to the customers. He also had a short tenure at EMC Federal, where he focused on consulting opportunities. Sudhir has been successful in developing strong customer relationships while improving information technology capabilities through innovation and transformation.

 

Wendy Simonson
Chief Talent Officer

As Chief Talent Officer, Wendy’s relentless focus is around attracting the best and brightest people to Force 3, then helping them to develop their careers far beyond what they had imagined. Wendy brings to Force 3 a passion for thoughtfully designed development. It begins with the right talent and a creative approach to learning, inspired coaching and mentoring, and a heavy dose of well-timed encouragement and serious fun. Wendy believes that when people feel valued and really “seen” for their unique gifts and accomplishments, anything is possible.

Wendy joined Force 3 in 2010 and brings over 25 years of broad business experience in organizational and leadership development, executive coaching, change management, process design, and communication. In her consulting days, Wendy worked with a wide range of clients including United Airlines, GlaxoSmithKline, Kaiser Permanente, and PeopleSoft.

Wendy personally leads the coaching and organizational development at Force 3 and also oversees Talent Acquisition and Talent Operations (HR). Wendy has an M.S. in Technical Communication from the University of Washington in Seattle and a B.F.A. (fine arts) from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
