Force 3 Wins Anne Arundel County 2010 Business-Based Mentoring Award

Force 3 is the proud recipient of the Anne Arundel County Business-Based Mentoring Award.  The award recognizes Force 3’s mentoring program in partnership with Crofton Meadows Elementary School. 

Community service is one of Force 3’s core foundational values.  Through our mentoring program, we offer students numerous opportunities to connect with adults who offer a positive influence on their lives, through work experience, help with studies or just being able to share daily experiences with each other.  Students often visit Force 3’s headquarters to see the innovative ways that Force 3 approaches the IT marketplace.  They are provided hands-on experience with various technologies, take part in video teleconferences, and other fun activities.  Additionally, Force 3 sponsors an afternoon of bowling each semester for our students and employees to interact. 

“Force 3 has made a commitment to Anne Arundel County,” says Rocky Cintron, President and CEO of Force 3.  “But we don’t want to limit our commitment to just showing up to work every day.  Our mentoring program offers us a way to foster the growth of students within the community, while students can learn the ins and outs of technology.  Hopefully we spark the interest of students and they wind up with a career in the technology industry."
