Rocky Cintron Rocky Cintron
President and CEO

With an ambition to pursue opportunities in the high-tech arena, Rocky formed Force 3 in August 1991.  For more than 18 years he has lead the company to become one of the fastest growing federal IT solutions providers in the region. Rocky’s years of experience in the IT industry, a winning combination of concise business principles and dedication to a positive corporate culture, have all contributed in building Force 3 to the $295 million company it is today.

Rocky has received numerous honors and awards.  He was named one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country by Success magazine, included as one of the Top Hispanic “Super Company” entrepreneurs, and he is a member of “Who’s Who Among Outstanding Business Executives.”

Rocky is a member of The CEO Project, and serves on industry VAR councils for both Cisco and Sun Microsystems. 

Rocky holds a B.S. in Business and Marketing from the University of Maryland.  He is married with three children.

 

Jim Bird Jim Bird
Vice Chairman

Jim graduated from college in 1972 after earning a B.A. in Liberal Arts. Seeking more challenging fields of study, he continued his education, attending the University of Minnesota, George Washington University and American University before pursuing the world of Computer Programming.  He worked for several companies including Control Data and eventually landed with Cintronix where he met Rocky Cintron, now Force 3's CEO.  In 1991, Jim and Rocky founded Force 3, Inc.  Over the years, utilizing his varied background, Jim has fulfilled many roles, from primary engineer to COO. Currently, he serves as Vice Chairman, heading the Force 3 Foundation.

 

Gary Brown Gary S. Brown
Executive Vice President

After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy, Gary began his sales management career in telemarketing, eventually finding his way into the IT sales industry, where he spent 9 years directing IT sales for the government sector of BTG/BDS.   In 1997, Gary joined Force 3 with over 18 years of sales management experience.  In his 13 years at Force 3, Gary has played an integral role within the company, initially as the Sales Director of the DoD Medical Team and advancing to his current position as Executive Vice President. Currently, Gary  is responsible for leading the federal sales division and support staff as well as planning and executing  sales and corporate growth strategies.   As a company executive, he provides input relative to budget, staffing, and direction for every department within the organization.

 

Trevia Martin Trevia Martin
Senior Vice President

Ms. Martin joined Force 3 in 1997 following a very accomplished career working within the Department of Defense (DoD) as project manager eventually becoming the Program Manager for a project to upgrade Navy Medical Treatment Facilities at 26 locations worldwide. 

In her current role as Senior Vice President, Federal Services, Ms. Martin has accountability for the success of three Technology Practices which includes Cyber Security, Communication and Collaboration and Data Center.  Ms. Martin also has responsibility for Force 3's Program Management Office (PMO) which includes services contracts and 160 employees deployed to 40 federal customer sites throughout the United States.  Ms. Martin's team of engineers and subject matter experts supports customers that range from DoD, Intel, Civilian and Healthcare.  Ms. Martin earned a B.S. in Engineering Technology from Old Dominion in 1991.
 

Les TrachtmanLes Trachtman 
Chief Operating Officer

In September, 2008, Force 3 named Les Trachtman Chief Strategy Officer.  Mr. Trachtman came to Force 3 with over 27 years of entrepreneurial experience in the technology industry. Les has previously served as CEO of several different technology companies including Transcentive, and e-OneHundred Group. Prior to these ventures, he spearheaded corporate development for Progress Software and Hyperion Software.

Les currently serves on the board of The Metro Group, BoardRoom Software and Aztech Technologies and is an advisor to the board of Apprenda.  He is chairman of the Eliphalet Nott Society, a micro-venture fund of Union College, where he also serves as the Entrepreneur in Residence. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Union College and both a JD and an MBA from Emory University.  Les is married with two children.

 

Jim Sullivan Jim Sullivan
Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Administration

Jim has been with Force 3, Inc. for over 11 years and brings over 25 years of IT experience to the table.  He has worked as a Program Manager, Financial Reporting Manager as well as a Project Control Analyst, giving him the necessary insight to perform in his current role as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration.  In addition to General Human Resource Administration, Jim is responsible for recruiting and retention programs, Contracts and company security. He holds a B.A. in Urban Planning and B.S. in Business from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola College.

 

Deborah Carr Deborah Carr
Senior Vice President, Accounting Operations

For 25 years Debbie has worked and established herself as an invaluable asset in purchasing, contracts and accounting.  Starting her profession as a Payroll Manager she progressed to a General Ledger Accountant when she began her career at Force 3.  Debbie has since been with the company for more than 12 years, growing with the company to an integral position managing all back office support including purchasing, customer service and finance.  Debbie is responsible for all of the audits and banking relations of Force 3 as well as financial reporting to external and internal customers.
